Why This Award Exists
The Scale Without Borders Award was born from a simple observation: Africa's most transformative builders were consistently underrecognised on the global stage. Founded by the ISF Forum, the award was created to change that — to put a spotlight on the founders, companies, and institutions that are quietly reshaping markets across borders.
Since its inaugural edition, the award has become the most sought-after recognition in African cross-border business. It is not a consolation prize for aspiration. It is the definitive recognition for achievement — a permanent record of the individuals and organisations who have proved that African businesses can compete, expand, and lead on the world stage.
We built this award to send the most powerful signal we can to the next generation of African builders: the highest reward awaits those who dare to go further.
